Adults- young and old- are welcome to enjoy an evening on the water at a local park this week.
Moraine State Park is holding a “Hidden River Paddle” on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the McDanel’s Launch on the North Shore. Park staff will lead a nature-based exploration of this area of Lake Arthur.
This beginners event is for ages 12 and older with those under 18 to be accompanied by an adult. Participants can bring their own kayaks. A limited number of kayaks are available. Life jackets are required.
Pre-registration is also required and space is limited. Social distancing guidelines will be followed and participants must wear a face mask or covering. Call the park office for more information.
