With the Easter Bunny ready to visit many local families, an event at Moraine State Park this weekend will focus on native rabbits.
A Rabbit Romp is planned for Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Pavilion 7 McDanel’s Launch Area on the North Shore.
Children ages 3 to 8 will be able to engage in story time, a hopping obstacle course, a hike, and a rabbit-themed craft. Participants are asked to dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear.
