An event at Moraine State Park this weekend will focus on the benefits of a certain fungus.
A Shiitake Mushroom Workshop is planned for Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the South Shore Park office.
Adult beginners interested in participating will be able to learn about how to identify and grow these delicious delicacies at home.
Pre-registration through the DCNR website is appreciated with some supplies and instructions available to take home from the workshop.
