A local park is offering fun activities for all ages this week.
Moraine State Park is holding a “Full Moon Paddle” later today from 8 to 10:30 p.m. at the Old Route 422 Launch by the Region 2 Office and Prospect exit. This activity is for ages 12 and older with those under 18 to be accompanied by an adult. Participants can bring their own kayaks. A limited number of kayaks are available. Life jackets are required. Pre-registration is also required and space is limited.
Local young people are invited to participate in DiscoverE Day Camps continuing this week at Moraine State Park. Hide and Seekers for kids ages 4 and 5 is being offered Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pavilion 7 on the North Shore. Those attending will learn about fish, frogs, and other lake animals through crafts, stories, and songs. The cost of the program is $15 and pre-registration is required.
