Area residents are invited out to an activity at Moraine State Park this week to enjoy the great outdoors.
On Wednesday park staff will lead visitors on a two hour hike on a section of the North Country Trail.
This hike will begin at 1 p.m. at the Bike Rental Building parking lot on the North Shore and focus on signs of approaching wintertime.
Participants are advised to dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear as well as bring water and snacks.
