Adults- young and old- are welcome to enjoy an evening on the water at a local park later this week.
Moraine State Park is holding a “Discover Porter Cove Paddle” on Tuesday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Porter Cove Boat Launch. Park staff will lead an eco-tour exploration of this area of Lake Arthur.
This beginners event is for ages 12 and older with those under 18 to be accompanied by an adult. Participants can bring their own kayaks. A limited number of kayaks are available. Life jackets are required.
Pre-registration is also required and space is limited. All current health guidelines will be followed. Call the park office for more information.
