A local state park will provide a unique opportunity to guests later this week to learn more about history while enjoying nature.
On Wednesday (July 6th) the park naturalists from Moraine State Park will offer a cruise onboard the Preston’s Pearl pontoon.
Wednesday’s cruise will feature a presentation on the history of tea while attendees take in the sights and sounds of Moraine’s 3,225 acres. During the cruise, guests will also enjoy Wild Teas and cookies.
This week’s cruise is set to launch from the Owlet Gift Shop launch on the North Shore at 4pm, and will return around 5:30pm. The cost of Wednesday’s cruise is $20 per person. Pre-registration is required, and can be made by calling the Owlet Gift Shop at 724-368-9185.
