More details are emerging around the man who tried to kill former President Trump Saturday.
Multiple outlets are reporting that 20-year-old Thomas Crooks of Bethel Park purchased ammo earlier that day at a Bethel Park gun store. Officials from the store said in a statement that they are fully cooperating with the investigation.
Crooks was also a graduate of the Community College of Allegheny County, where he earned an associate degree in engineering science. School officials say there was never any disciplinary issues with Crooks.
Neighbors of Crooks said they didn’t see him all that often, and described him as a quiet kid.
