Police are releasing more information on a crash that shut down a portion of Route 422 earlier this week.
The accident happened Tuesday around 2 p.m. in the eastbound lane, near the Jefferson Street exit.
State police say 48-year-old Jason Curry of Butler was driving in the wrong direction going about 55 miles per hour when he hit a tractor trailer driven by 25-year-old Aman Tamang of Georgia.
Curry suffered serious injuries and was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital. His current condition is not known.
Tamang was not injured in the crash.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
