Police are providing more information on a crash that shut down Route 38 earlier this week.
The accident happened Tuesday afternoon when 22-year-old Logan Irwin of Petrolia was driving north and lost control of the vehicle. Irwin went up an embankment and hit a tree.
The tree then fell on the road.
Irwin was injured and taken to Butler Memorial Hospital. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
