A local lawmaker is moving ahead with efforts to investigate the integrity of Pennsylvania elections.
Republican State Representative Daryl Metcalfe recently congratulated 78 House members and 12 Senators who have signed his petition to convene a Special Session of the legislature to deal with Election Issues.
The Pennsylvania Constitution states that “Special sessions shall be called by the governor on petition of a majority of the members elected to each House”. The state house has 203 members while the state senate has 50 members.
Last week, a lawsuit filed by Metcalfe arguing that the fall election contained irregularities was dismissed by state Commonwealth Court.
