After signing legislation into law late last year, PennDOT and the Shapiro Administration have announced changes to motorcycle inspections have been enacted.
In November of 2024, the governor signed into law a bill that allowed for year-round motorcycle inspections. Previously, inspections could only occur between March and October; now there is no limit on when they may take place.
The inspection sticker given to motorcycles will be valid for no more than 15 months.
