A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a crash with an SUV Tuesday in Penn Township.
The accident happened about 2 p.m. on Route 8 in front of Diehl Automotive and involved the bike and an SUV.
The SUV driver, a 77-yr-old woman from Mars, was not hurt. A medical helicopter flew the biker, a 70-year-old Valencia man, to a Pittsburgh hospital.
Penn Township Police say the woman was traveling north on Route 8 and attempting to turn into Diehl Automotive for service and didn’t see the motorcyclist.
