A motorcyclist was injured in a two vehicle crash that occurred late last week in nearby Pine Township, Mercer County.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, a 68-year-old man from Mercer was driving a Freightliner truck on Cranberry Road near George Junior Road just before 8am on Friday (August 7th).
Authorities say that the motorist initially stopped at a stop sign, but failed to yield to approaching traffic and pulled out in front of an oncoming motorcycle.
Police say that the motorcyclist, a 30-year-old Kennerdell woman, then struck the truck. The motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet, was later taken to a local hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
