A local motorist was airlifted from a one car crash that occurred last week in nearby Armstrong County.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, a 34-year-old Emlenton woman was traveling on Pipeline Road in Wayne Township just after 7:30pm on Tuesday when she lost control of her pickup.
Officials say that the pickup then struck a tree and rolled over twice. First responders say that the driver was unconscious and breathing upon their arrival. She was extricated from the vehicle and was later flown to Forbes Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
Police plan to charge the driver with DUI.
