A local motorist was injured following a two car crash that occurred late last week in Center Township.
According to State Police, 39-year-old Matthew Bean of Harmony was driving southbound on North Main Street Extension (Route 8) around 8:30pm on Friday (May 19th) when his vehicle veered into the northbound lane and struck a vehicle driven by 62-year-old Terri Mackalica of Butler head on.
Authorities say that Bean suffered suspected serious injuries in the crash, and was flown to UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh for treatment. Mackalica and her seven-year-old passenger both suffered suspected minor injuries and were transported to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment.
