As National Blood Donor Month wraps up, there’s still time for local residents to join in an effort to save lives.
The first of several local Vitalant blood drives is planned for today from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at SRU’s Robert Smith Student Center Theatre.
Another Vitalant drive will take place Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the VA Medical Center Auditorium on North Duffy Road while a third is scheduled for Friday at North Catholic High School.
Vitalant is offering all donors who give blood and opt into their Donor Rewards Program at a drive a chance to win one of three $10,000 gift cards.
Appointments are recommended but not required and walk-ins are welcome. More information can be found on Vitalant’s website.
