A house was destroyed in an overnight fire in Cherry Township.
Six different fire departments were called to the 100 block of Grubb Lane around 11:15 p.m. last night.
When crews got on scene they found heavy smoke and heavy fire coming from a home, and upgraded it to a two-alarm fire. Residents were able to evacuate the house safely.
Dispatchers say multiple vehicles were also involved in the fire. Crews also had to contain the fire from spreading into the woods and surrounding area.
The house is considered a total loss.
They were able to get the fire under control just after midnight.
