We have more information about a chain reaction crash over the weekend which resulted in a few injuries.
The three-vehicle accident happened shortly before 10 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Route 8 Pittsburgh Road and McCalmont Road in Butler Township.
According to Butler Township Police, 64-year-old Darryl Brown of Lyndora failed to stop for traffic and ran into the back of a truck driven by 48-year-old Joseph Summerville of Butler. Summerville’s truck was pushed into a third vehicle driven by 55-year-old Dena Gaviglia of Butler.
Brown’s passenger was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of unknown upper body injuries. Gaviglia and her passenger also sustained unknown upper body injuries. Bown’s vehicle needed to be towed from the scene.
