Nadine A. Ball, age 54, of Butler, passed away Tues., Nov. 23, 2021.
Born in Butler on Dec. 18, 1966, she was a daughter of Larry J. and Mary H. Atkinson Ball.
Nadine was a loved daughter, sister and aunt who had many friends that cared deeply for her. Nadine loved her independent living and was very proud to have an apartment of her own. She was a fun, loving person who enjoyed going shopping and dining at her favorite restaurants, Natili’s and Snack ’n Pack, with her friends and family. She also had a special place in her heart for animals.
Nadine graduated from Butler Area High School and attended the Vo-Tech Nursing Program. She was a hard worker and held a position at Giant Eagle for many years. She also helped at the family business at Mary’s Cake & Candy.
Nadine was a member of All Saints Parish, Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church, and belonged to the Catholic Daughters of America, Saint Paul Catholic Women and Christian Mothers, and the Crimson Chapeau Cuties.
In her later years, Nadine required assistance with her daily living skills due to having Parkinson’s. Nadine truly appreciated her caregivers, and her family would like to extend a special thank you to all those who supported and cared for Nadine. We have all learned so many virtues and life lessons from Nadine. She was a true blessing to all those who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Nadine is survived by four siblings, Larry M. “Mike” Ball and his wife, Laurie, of Chicora, Tina M. Ball, of Chicora, Paula J. Traymar and her husband, David, of Pittsburgh, and Danny R. Ball and his wife, Angela, of Chicora; and several nieces and nephews.
Nadine was preceded in death by her nephew, Michael Joseph Ball.
There will be private visitation for the immediate family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Sat., Nov. 27, at 11 a.m. from All Saints Parish, Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler, with Rev. Kevin C. Fazio officiating.
Burial will take place in West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Ave., Butler.
