An engineer at the NASA Glenn Research Center in Ohio will make a stop back at her alma mater this week as the Seneca Valley School District continues its programs on STEM careers- science, technology, engineering and math.
2007 SV graduate Shannon Eichorn will speak on Tuesday morning to students in the Senior High School.
Eichorn is the facility management engineer at the research center and supports the Power Systems Facility, which is a testbed for aviation and spacecraft electrical systems.
In her time in aerospace, she has supported jet engine development and supersonic wind testing.
This is the third lecture this year featured as part of the Seneca Valley STEM Lecture Series.
