NASCAR HOF 2019 nominees to be announced today

The 2019 NASCAR Hall of Fame class will be announced today. NBCSN’s “Nascar America” will air a special at 5pm featuring the 20 nominees. NASCAR’s early-season swing through the western United States moves from Nevada to Arizona as Cup Series teams prepare for next Sunday’s TicketGuardian 500 at I-S-M Raceway in Phoenix. Stewart-Haas Racing’s Kevin Harvick will be seeking his third straight victory on a track where he leads all Cup Series drivers with eight wins. Harvick has won six of the last eleven races contested on the one-mile desert oval dating back to the 2012 season. The last driver to win three straight Cup Series races was Team Penske’s Joey Logano during the 2015 playoffs.
