NASCAR penalizes Stewart-Haas Racing for race manipulation in Charlotte

Nascar has penalized Stewart-Haas Racing $200,000 in fines for race manipulation during the race at the Charlotte Roval Sunday. A review of race tape and revealed Cole Custer helped teammate Chase Briscoe gain the position needed to advance into the next round of the playoffs by slowing down and blocking other cars. The move helped eliminate reigning champion Kyle Larson from the playoff format.
