Tomorrow is “National Prescription Drug Take Back Day” and there will be plenty of locations around the county for you to drop off your unused medications.
Many locations will be taking back the prescriptions from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Butler City Police Station (200 West New Castle St.)
- Butler Twp. Police will be at Walmart inside the Butler Commons collecting prescription drugs
- The Butler County Sheriff will be at Sam’s Club and the Unionville Fire Department on Mahood Road
- Cranberry Twp. Police will be stationed at the township’s Municipal Building on Rochester Road.
- The Adams Township Municipal Building on Valencia Road will be collecting unwanted, unused, or expired medications.
It’s all a part of an effort to reduce prescription drug abuse.
