COVID cases are slightly down from last week in Butler County, but are still relatively high.
There were nearly 1,000 new cases in the county over the past seven days.
There were also eight more deaths reported by the Department of Health for the county bringing the death toll to 544.
Statewide hospitalizations continue to be on the rise, with more than 3,400 receiving treatment. The Butler Health System meanwhile says a local update will not be available until next Monday.
