Born October 25, 1995, in Newport, RI, he was the son of Homer N. Clark, III and Jennifer “Jenny” (Campbell) Clark.
Nelson was a 2014 graduate of Butler High School where he was elected Prom King that year. He went on to attend Butler County Community College. Nelson enjoyed everything Star Wars, and had an affinity for building Legos. Lately, he had become somewhat of a SpaceX junkie, and was fascinated by the rockets and where space travel is headed. Nelson had a love for country music, and always looked forward to going to concerts. He was also a fan of Professional Bull Riding and NASCAR.
He is survived by his parents, Homer N. Clark, III and Jenny Clark of Butler, three sisters; Ruby (Hunter) Morgan of Butler, Emma Clark, of Midland, and Zoe Clark of Butler; his nephew and buddy, Henry Morgan, and numerous aunts and uncles.
Nelson was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Nelson’s family extends heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all of the caregivers that helped him throughout his life.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, February 24, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM and Tuesday, February 25, 2025, from 10:00-11:00 AM at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 E. North Street, Butler, PA 16001.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 E. North St., Butler, PA 1601 , with Pastor Sam Fahnestock of New Life Christian Ministries officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in Nelson’s name to the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation (ChristopherReeve.org/donate) or to DRIVEN NeuroRecovery Center Las Vegas (www.drivenlv.org).
