A new bipartisan bill in Harrisburg would permit people to grow marijuana for medical reasons at their home.
It’s known as the Medical Marijuana Home Cultivation Bill, and it was introduced last week in the state senate.
One of the bill’s sponsors, Republican Senator Dan McLaughlin of Erie says that this bill would help make it easier for people to have access to medical marijuana.
The bill does face a tough political future, as a similar bill was defeated earlier this year.
