The number of new COVID cases in Butler County has held fairly steady over the last seven days.
There was actually 13 fewer cases this week compared to last, but still the county registered 823 new cases overall.
Local hospitalizations are also stable compared to last week. As of Thursday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating 44 patients for the coronavirus, with nine COVID patients in the ICU.
The hospital also reported three additional deaths this week. The county’s COVID death toll is now at 440 according to the Department of Health.
