Attorney General Michelle Henry has launched a “Data Breach Portal” for Pennsylvanians who have been impacted.
This past year Governor Josh Shapiro signed the bipartisan Pennsylvania Breach of Personal Information Notification Act. That act required companies to provide 12 months of free credit monitoring if the breached involved more than 500 people along with, if it involved the person’s name and Social Security Number, bank account number, or driver’s license or state ID number.
Now, the portal is available for any entity to find out more information, file a report, or find information on breach that may have impacted them.
