Butler County has received another grant to continue their environmental review work in available properties.
The grant is worth $600,000 and allows county officials to assess lands that they say can spur economic development. These grants give the county a chance to do the environmental review work in order to allow properties to be renovated or built on.
The first round of grants helped spur a new plastics business in the county and the new location of the Harmony/Zelienople Volunteer Fire Company.
