Two local girls were crowned the new Little and Junior Miss Butler County over the weekend.
Samantha Capriotti performed a dance routine to “Don’t Rain On My Parade” during the talent portion of the Little Miss Butler County competition. She took home the crown, and was also awarded the Miss Congeniality award.
Samantha is the daughter of Mark and Shannen Capriotti.
Rylee Werner was crowned the new Junior Miss Butler County. She performed a modern contemporary dance to “Can’t Be Broken.” She is the daughter of Christian and Tasha Werner, and also took home the Miss Congeniality award.
The competitions were held Saturday at Butler County Community College. The winners receive cash scholarships and will participate in various community service projects throughout the year.
