A new film on Netflix is receiving attention locally after some of the scenes were shot in Western Pennsylvania.
The Pale Blue Eye was recently released on the streaming platform and stars Christian Bale.
But, in addition to seeing Academy Award winning actors, local viewers are also noticing scenes that took place in McConnells Mill State Park.
There’s also another scene where Lake Arthur at Moraine State Park stands in as a replication of the Hudson River in New York.
Other scenes were shot in various locations in Allegheny and Westmoreland Counties.
