Beekeepers and those interested in learning more about bees are invited to check out a new online tool and community.
Beescape.org is a result of collaboration between several organizations including Penn State’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Department of Entomology.
The site allows users to select a specific location anywhere in the state and obtain landscape quality scores for the surrounding region as well as examine the crops being grown nearby.
This tool will allow beekeepers to partner with researchers to gather and share information about bee health. Beekeepers and those with wild bee hotels are invited to log on and join the community.
Are you wanting to get a website up off the ground and onto the World Wide Web? Bringing your knowledge and expertise on whatever subject it may be to the eyes of willing consumers, just like Beescape has? Although if you have little experience with web design you could benefit greatly from guide sites such as sitebeginner.com.
