Motorists should be aware of a change in traffic due to construction work on a main bridge in Muddy Creek Township.
PennDOT has started the next phase of the Portersville Bridge replacement project carrying East Portersville Road over Interstate 79.
Weather permitting through Friday, crews will be working on asphalt paving and other construction such as drainage, deck repair, and utilities as part of a two-span steel multi-girder bridge.
Flaggers will be placed along East Portersville Road between Route 19 and Badger Hill Road to reduce traffic to a single lane.
This $6.3 million project is expected to continue until June of 2024.
