Butler County Community College officials say a recent donation will go toward helping programs geared toward high school and elementary students.
NexTier Bank donated $20,000 to the BC3 Education Foundation last week that will support the Stock Market Game and College Within the High School.
NexTier Bank’s support of BC3 “literally goes back decades,” BC3 President Dr. Nick Neupauer said. “It has been a great partnership for many years.”
The College Within the High School Program gives high school students a chance to earn college credits while still in high school.
The Stock Market Game meanwhile is open for students in 4th through 12th grade to participate in a mock stock market.
This is the eighth consecutive year NexTier has made a donation to the BC3 Education Foundation to help fund these programs.
