No one was hurt in a multi-vehicle crash Thursday in northern Butler County.
The three-vehicle crash happened about 3:45 p.m. on Route 173 at the Beatty Road intersection in Brady Township.
State police say this was a chain-reaction crash. Two drivers were stopped waiting for someone to make a turn when a third driver hit into the vehicles from the back.
65-year-old Gail Ireland, 65, of Slippery Rock was the third driver. She had to be cut out of her car by firefighters.
All three drivers told police they were wearing their seat belts and were not hurt.
Ireland was cited for following too closely.
Crews were on scene for about an hour.
