No one was hurt when a chimney caught fire Tuesday night in Jackson Township.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly before 6 p.m. for a fire in the 100 block of Muntz Run Road in Zelienople.
Crews from Harmony District, Cranberry, and Connoquenessing were among those dispatched to find everyone evacuated from the residence.
Firefighters were able to quickly get the blaze under control with very little damage and cleared the scene after about an hour. It is believed that the fire was caused by a buildup of creosote around the flue.
