No serious injuries were reported following a Christmas Eve crash in Slippery Rock Township.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, two cars were approaching the intersection of Harmony Road and Franklin Road around 10pm when a 28-year-old West Sunbury man failed to stop at a stop sign.
Officials say that the other driver, a 42-year-old Harrisville man, was unable to avoid a collision, and struck the vehicle before striking a fence, mailbox, and tree. Debris from the crash also caused minor damage to a third vehicle parked in a nearby driveway.
Authorities say that a passenger in the West Sunbury man’s vehicle, a 20-year-old Slippery Rock woman, was taken to the Grove City Medical Center for treatment of a possible injury. It is unknown if any charges will be filed.
