The National Weather Service says there were no tornadoes in Sunday night’s storms.
Both northern and southern portions of Venango County received tornado warnings Sunday.
The National Weather Service says they found softwood tree damage and hardwood tree damage during their investigation. But, that was caused by straight-line wind, not a tornado.
Meteorologists also said that conditions were ripe for storms late Sunday.
