Norberta Mae Duffy, 88, of Butler, passed away, Sunday evening, April 27, 2025.
She was born November 17, 1936 in Butler, a daughter of the late Francis “Pete” Morrison and Cecelia (Geibel) Morrison.
She had worked at Magnetics/Spang Co. in quality control for 43 years. She was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Michael Roman Catholic Church and enjoyed bingo, bowling, playing dominos, playing cards, buying lottery tickets, also loved to eat ice cream.
Surviving is her son, Michael J. (Terry) Duffy.
2 daughters, Leona (Steven) Grigorovich and Cecelia (Jeffrey) Beltrami.
7 grandchildren: Michele (Mike) Pearson, Jamie (Steve) Grossbauer, Jessica (Ron) Twentier, Tricia (Matt) Myers, Jimmy (Amber) Toner, Amanda Beltrami and Richie Grigorovich.
12 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Duffy, he passed away September 5, 1983; her companion, Bill Halahurich, also 2 brothers and 5 sisters.
Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, at 11:00 am, at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, 432 Center Avenue in Butler. The Rev. Kevin Fazio, Pastor will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.
