Norma Josephs Cirillo, 83, of Butler, passed away peacefully, Saturday, January 26, 2019, at the V.N.A. Inpatient Hospice.
Norma was a daughter of the late Nicola Josephs and Sophie (Sams) Josephs. Norma was married to Anthony Cirillo on April 22, 1957, he died December 11, 2002.
Norma was a graduate of Butler High School and had worked at several Law offices finally retiring from the Butler County Courthouse after 22 years. She was a member of St. Anthony Antiochian Orthodox Church and the 55 Alive Club. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed trips to the casino and was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Teri Cirillo of Pittsburgh, a sister, Diane Josephs of Butler, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 1 son, Michael Cirillo; 2 brothers, Norman and Donald Josephs; 3 sisters, Martha Renfrew, Deloris Bynum and Sylvia Josephs.
Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, from 6:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m. Monday. Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Anthony Antiochian Orthodox Church in Butler. The Rev. Bogdan Bucur, Pastor, will officiate. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Butler.
