The 60th annual North Washington Rodeo officially gets underway Tuesday in northern Butler County.
Events will start at 8 p.m. nightly at the rodeo arena on Oneida Valley Road in North Washington…and are rain or shine. Gates open at 6 p.m.
The event is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the North Washington Volunteer Fire Department and will continue through Saturday.
One of the main events tonight is a performance by the Butler County 4-H Equestrian Drill Team.
The rodeo is sanctioned by the International Professional Rodeo Association and continues to be a draw for world and national champions.
Tickets are $16 for adults and $7 for kids ages 4 to 12. Both Tuesday and Wednesday are “Family Nights” in which the purchase of one full price adult ticket will also get two kids in for free.
