Shorter days mean more deer accidents are on the way according to AAA.
The travel agency says November and December mark the peak months for deer-related crashes.
Just two years ago, there were more than 5,500 deer and vehicle accidents in the Keystone State.
The accident can be costly, with the average deer-related claim in the region at $5,000.
AAA recommends drivers pay close attention to road signs and keep your eyes on the road. The most active deer movement happens in between 5-8 a.m. and 5-8 p.m.
