The amount of revenue the state brought in during November was slightly less than expected.
The Department of Revenue announced that collections totaled $2.9 billion last month.
This is nearly 3% less than anticipated, however the year-to-date collections are only down by a tenth of a percent.
Sales tax receipts continue to be the main driver of revenue, bringing in $1.2 billion in November which is about $14 million over estimate. Personal income tax revenue was $1.1 billion and corporation tax revenue was $185 million. The Motor License Fund which includes gas taxes collected over $273 million last month, also slightly more than anticipated while the yearly total remains nearly 5% over estimate.
