Over two years have passed since the collapse of the Fern Hollow Bridge in Pittsburgh, and federal officials are expected to hold a meeting to help determine the probable cause of the collapse.
The 447-foot bridge fell back in January 2022 which led to multiple injuries but fortunately no fatalities.
Investigators found corrosion, deterioration, and section losses on the bridge’s legs.
During the upcoming February 21st virtual meeting, the National Transportation Safety Board will vote on the final findings, probable cause, and recommendations.
