As temperatures begin to drop be prepared for more muggy weather but no worries it shouldn’t interfere with New Year Eve celebrations.
More rain is predicted through the weekend but by Friday night there may be a rain-snow mix.
Bill Modzelewski is a meteorologist with the National Weather Service and he believes that although we will see colder weather it should be calm New Year’s Eve.
“There’s still a chance for rain and snow showers on New Year’s Eve but it doesn’t look like any major storm systems,” Modzelewski said. “And it looks like temperatures should be closer to average for this time of the year.”
Come New Years day the rain and snow mix should be through the area according to the National Weather Service.
