Two local Catholic parishes will merge in the coming weeks following an announcement from Bishop David Zubik on Saturday.
According to our news partners at WPXI, Holy Sepulcher on East Cruikshank Road in Middlesex Township and St. Kilian on Franklin Road in Cranberry Township will merge to form Saint Mark the Evangelist Parish.
Officials anticipate that the merger will occur on July 1st. The two current parishes serve residents in southern portions of the county, including Cranberry, Adams, and Middlesex Townships as well as Valencia.
