As Pennsylvania residents prepare for a holiday weekend that may include out of state travel, officials are recommending travelers observe a quarantine period after returning from certain states.
According to the state Department of Health, those who have traveled or plan to travel to an area with high numbers of people affected by COVID-19 should isolate at home for 14 days after returning.
These states include Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah.
Lebanon County, which is the last in the state to transition from yellow to green status, will do so Friday. However the green status still prohibits gatherings of more than 250 people.
