Officials are searching for a student who left the premises of Herman based Summit Academy earlier today.
According to the school, a male student left the grounds and is believed to still be in the area. The student is not considered dangerous.
School officials ask that nearby neighbors lock their cars and doors. Residents should also not interact with the student if they observe him.
Anyone with information regarding the student’s whereabouts is asked to call Summit Academy at 724-282-1995.
