An Ohio man is facing charges in Butler Township after attempting to steal a trailer.
Butler Township Police are accusing 42-year-old Nicholas Kovacs of Youngstown of stealing a trailer at the Greater Butler Mart on August 30.
Police alleged Kovacs and another white male stole the trailer while a business was closed shortly after 9 p.m. The trailer was recovered and Kovacs has been charged with unlawful taking and criminal conspiracy.
Kovacs was released on written promise to appear for future court dates and comply with bail conditions.
He has a preliminary hearing scheduled for November 3.
